Prasiolite is the gemmy green variety of Quartz.  Author Diane Stein says that is soothes, calms and refills the heart after emotional release; repairs the chakra after heart scar opening.  Manifests Quan Yin energy of compassion and universal love.  Heals abandonment, loneliness and emotional upsets.  I feel that his is a great stone to use along with my Avalonite which is also about healing abandonment issues.
